To wear kimono, you will need some other items too, which are Hada-Juban (underwear), Naga-Juban (a long undergarment) and Obi (belt). You also need more small items, but I just listed up major ones below.
Hada- Juban (an underwear for Kimono)
Hada means skin in Japanese. This clothes are the first layer on your skin under Kimono.
Naga- Juban (a long undergarment for Kimono)
After wearing Hada- Juban, you wear Naga-Juban. You wear this for protecting Kimono from your sweat or directly touching your skin and prevent any damages on Kimono.
Obi is a major partner of Kimono. The Obi belt is used to wrap around Kimono and you also enjoy kimono fashion with folding it in various styles. You need to pick up Obi belt according to design, colour and quality of Kimono.
